17. Magic Wood Clean up day

The magic of this forest isn't just in the ancient granite or the moss-draped pines; it lives in the hands and hearts of the people who return year after year to protect it. For our 17th Edition, that spirit echoed louder than ever. A dedicated crew of around 100 volunteers stepped forward, proving that the Bodhi legacy of stewardship is not only alive but growing stronger with every passing season.

Over the weekend of August 29-30, the energy throughout the forest was electric. Saturday kicked off with our traditional, free Clean Up Day. Armed with brushes and an unwavering commitment to the land, this massive team dispersed through the trees to clear away the season's remnants, scrub the boulders, and restore the gap between our international climbing family and the local valley community. It was a beautiful, humbling reminder that climbing in this world-class destination is a profound privilege, and our shared responsibility.

Tthe hard work of giving back is always balanced by the warmth of our community gathering back at Bodhi Camping. After a long day in the dirt, the evening transformed into a vibrant celebration of connection. We stretched out tired climbing muscles, sweat out the day's fatigue in the mobile sauna, and shared well-earned food under the stars. The night truly came alive when we hit the dance floor, moving together to beats by Dave Graham.

The momentum carried right through to Sunday’s Charity Boulder event, rounding out a weekend defined by purpose, laughter, and shared passion. None of this magic happens in a vacuum. It takes a village, and we are deeply indebted to the partners whose generous backing fueled every scrub, sweat, and smile.
